Happy Valentine’s Day

Here are some tips that the ASPCA shared about how to keep our pets safe this Valentine’s Day:

• Of course, no chocolate for the doggies on Valentine’s Day (and always), but show your love to them by giving them a little extra belly rub!

• Many other sweets, in addition to chocolate, are dangerous if consumed by a pet. Especially beware of candy that is sweetened by xylitol.

• Keep flowers away from your pets; many of them can be poisonous.

• Keep all alcoholic drinks away from pets. Alcohol can cause serious illness and digestive issues in pets.
